The thing is that most of the rest of the world is not exposed to the Chinese stock market, it is largely a decoupled, domestic market. Also, there is a large number of small investors rather than being dominated by huge funds, like US/EUR markets. While it is bad in general terms, it is not really linked to other markets in the same way as the rest of the world.
