Caliope Sends: If you look in your wallet or purse you will see only the Green Seal Federal Reserve Notes, which are actually "fiat money". "Fiat money" is nothing more than currency printed and based upon nothing. The Federal Reserve is supposed to have Reserve money held back to cover those notes, but in actuality, is nothing more than more Green Seal fiat currency. US Notes were backed by actual gold and silver held in vaults.
Do you remember "Silver Certificates"? They were legal tender and could be exchanged for actual silver metal at banks. They were printed in $10, $5, $2, and $1 face values. When I was a kid, my daddy took a few of them to the bank and exchanged them for actual Silver Dollars, which I still have.
Before that, we had Gold Certificates in amounts of $10,000, $5,000, $1,000, $500, $100, $50, $20, $10, $5 amounts. Before 1934 and Roosevelt's order making possession of gold illegal, you could take a $20 Gold Certificate to the bank and exchange it for a $20 gold coin. Gold Certificates were backed by the bulk gold and gold coins stored in bank vaults. US gold depository banks still have gold in them, but it is "sterile gold", meaning it does not circulate.
FYI, the actual quantity of physical gold in US Government storage is a closely held secret, but there are estimates that it totals several thousand tons.
You should all research the history of US currency -- it will open your eyes to how the "Mercantilism" movement founded and operated by (((the jews))) destroyed our hard money economy.

..the 12 Federal Reserve banks within the US prints this money ...
The US mints, under the the department of Treasury, print the money. By direction of the Federal Reserve. They then deposit the money in the Federal Reserve banks, who then loan it to the US with interest. Good work if you can get it.
