My husband had to drop off a sample at the hospital lab today. I waited in the car. Six nurses were casually talking at the newly installed tented entrance to the emergency room. This is a medium sized town. Outside of my husband, in the fifteen minutes it took for my husband to return, not a single person approached the building. The parking lot was fairly barren. According to my husband, he had to have his temperature taken in order to even be allowed in the building.

It's important to remember that there are various strains of this stuff out there. Presumably, the one here isn't that bad. Don't be a fear monger, but be aware that it is completely feasible that the one that struck China can make it's way here still in the coming months. One of those, hope for the best but prepare for the worst deals.

The deadly strain isn’t for us. All one highly contagious virus but two payloads.

"isn't for us" doesn't mean it wont travel.
