How does the RealID card help to ID people on survellience camera networks? When I got mine several months ago, they didn't do anything different than they would for a normal driver's license. They took my picture. The only difference was I had to provide either my birth certificate or passport, my social security card, and a proof of residency, like an address on a utility bill. All that proof of identity shit seemed excessive, but it wasn't any information they didn't already have about me. Does the card have an rfid chip in it something?
Did you have to pay anything to get it? I dont have anything against the new id, but if i have to pay for it, ill never get it.

I don't remember, but probably. It couldn't have been very much to not register a concrete memory.
