Peephole surveying, using sun or just the eye and a second peraon to place markers.
For chiseling they used a chisel. For moving stone they put two pebbles under a very large stone and walked the stone with a large lever into place.

I’ve heard speculation about stuff like this that maybe it was poured like concrete somehow. Christopher Dunn, a US machinist, found tool marks on ancient Egyptian stonework. Will watch this later.
