Muddles "freedom" to mean "free shit paid for by someone else."
Benjamin Rush was a blood-letting quack. And apparently the quackery of Socialism was popular 250 years ago.

Example: Pay for a service I need because I can't afford it. I need you to pay for my Whole Foods grocery list because it is a Right that I have equal access to a healthy lifestyle. I need you to pay for my new A/C installation because it is a Right that I have equal access to comfortable living. Pay for my football tickets because it is a Right that I have equal access to entertainment.

Was it illegal before 1973 to have for profit medical care? IDK. You decide. Interesting reading.

behold the beauties of civilization, where you have no women relatives to tend your wounds and so you die slowly and painfully of rotten teeth, with no nigger doctor to pull it out

Religious freedom was a mistake. Now we have joos and mudslides all over the place too.

I think everyone is misunderstanding what he is saying. He is not at all advocating socialized medicine. He is saying there shouldn't be any regulations. So if you want to go to a voodoo doctor that is your prerogative. He simply wants the government to stay out of medicine. No required medical degree to practice medicine.

Holy shit somebody figured it out!
Yes, people need the freedom to learn and practice medicine on a truly private level.
It will be difficult to determine who is or isn't a fraud, but that's already a problem, especially with all the retarded women and subhumans flooding the medical industry- but the increased freedom would let the truly competent flourish as word of their excellence got around.

The healthcare system doesn't cure disease it manages disease at high cost to maintain its vast industry. If we were all as healthy as say the people of Iceland all these pharma companies, doctors and nurses would be unemployed. If we wanted to cure diseases we would stop eating all the modern garbage and go back to evolutionary diets. All the big killers were almost unheard of before the 20th century and the mass introduction of modern foods like sugar and vegetable oils.
It's so bad that people who reject "healthcare" and take their health into their own hands via diet are seen as "extremists" all while the government spends billions subsidising and promoting the very foods that cause our diseases.

You SIR are so full of shit that it is coming out of every body orifice. Before modern medicine (20 century) over 1/2 of the children born never saw their 6th birthday. Also the average of death was about 35. Go back and read some history of the time, and get educated.

The Constitution doesn't grant freedoms or rights. Rights are natural and the Constitution only prohibits government from infringing on all rights (per the 9th Amendment).
The Founding Fathers didn't account for a bunch of leftists living in America, so you're going about it the wrong way if you're looking towards the Constitution for answers.
Look towards the Declaration of Independence, instead.

Precisely. Healthcare is not a "RIGHT".
