i hate oprah and always have (and we can get her on many other things like how she is a madame/dame) but this was likely her talking about child sexual abuse which she purportedly endured, and as a childhood abuse sufferer myself i think what's she was trying to say was how easy it is for children to not know that it's "abuse" that is happening to them because it's not always going to be violent, as she said, "throwing you up against the walls" etc sometimes if they are "good" at their sick "job" (in other words if they are expert psychopaths) they will be brainwashing you into believing it's something good rather than abusive
but damn she didn't have to WORD it like THAT...

I hate pedos, and i don't like Oprah, but your point is correct. When I had children, I read everything I could find about pedos. I had encountered at least two of them as a child, so i knew they were real and dangerous.
Oprah's point is absolutely valid. A skilled pedophile can seduce a child and convince them, at the time, that what they are doing is good. This can cause even worse psychological damage down the line than a violent or crude attack, as the victim must reconcile two very different pictures of the world, and they don't just feel violated, they feel complicit.
As I said, I don't like Oprah, but she is not defending pedophilia here, but pointing out that it is a lot more insidious than most people realize.

Anons need to be careful to keep comments of others in context. What Oprah is talking about is true, which creates such confusion in the victims, like their body betrays itself. And if the abuser and victim are both male, them there victim has been aroused by another male, so he begins to think he is gay, and the confusion escalates.
Edit to add: I'm not saying she is or isn't a pedo, but people need to find real evidence rather than take something out of context.

This would be very disturbing if true and it's very deceitful to take something like this out of context. There was also a women in the audience shaking her head affirmatively in response and that really amplified the horror. With all the oprah news lately I suspect she's being set up for a fall.

i'm not defending her, i'm defending a video clip taken out of context and used to support theory by way of confirmation bias... which is damaging to our movement and to normies trying to find info... when ACTUALLY there is REAL evidence people can post abut oprah being a criminal and psychopath. so in actuality you seem like more of a shill than me.

Whatever Oprah may have been involved in and I suspect it's something, this clip isn't proof of anything and it hurts our cause to use this as proof that she's a pedophile. In this video, Oprah was talking about the complicated feelings that arise when a child victim is molested by someone they are close to. There can be parts of the relationship, including the physical relationship, that feel good. Many child victims have reported this. She is saying that's part of what makes it so devastating. These mixed emotions can cause the victim to experience immense shame, self-blame, and self-hatred. It can take decades for some victims of this kind of childhood sexual abuse to realize that they weren't consenting participants in the relationship, but innocent victims of a manipulative abuser.

I'm struggling to imagine in what context this could be an OK conversation. What is she saying here, that it's OK that it happens? Or that it happens because it's not that hard to pull off?
Look, I'm a girl. When I was about 7 I ran an errand for my mom and dropped off some money that she owed a local store in town. When I walked to the owners desk at the back of the store, he talked with me for a while, then he slipped his hand up my t-shirt in the back and started rubbing my back. I remember it very well. I pulled back and said, "Staaaaaaaahp!" Then I ran home and told my mom. She never had me run any errands to that store again. I know Dad made a trip over there when he got home. Never found out what happened.
But I'm just saying, kids have an innate instinct about that kind of shit whether they say anything or not. Oprah sounds like a typical abuser who likes to talk themselves into believing it's ok because "it feels good" to the kid.
What a POS!
You’re an idiot. Kids play touch games all the time. Because it feels good. That’s all she’s saying. If it feels good it feels good.
That doesn’t disqualify her from being a POS. As someone pointed out here earlier - they will skirt right next to the truth and show themselves but not.
And yet. What’s she’s saying is true.

She enabled Harvey Weinstein. Bringing him young starlets. Who knows her own likes or habits. We know she weilded the power of wealth. Reassured wannabes in Hollywood that it was ok to do whatever Harvey demanded. All A listers did. My opinion.

I read she is also completely enamored with John of God. She uses her influence to send many his way as well. She's an accomplice to so much evil as well as a perpetrator herself.
