That's pretty typical of a large copper mine. This particular mine processes about a half a million tons of ore a day then crushes it and grinds it to make it usable in their milling circuit. Mines run 24/7 and wear out their equipment at a very fast rate so they go through a lot of consumables. Trucks and trains run pretty much non stop to keep them supplied. Nothing nefarious going on here that doesn't happen at every large mine.
