That's a symptom of the virus trying to self-propagate. It's like how people with HIV feel the need to parade naked in the street and fuck healthy people.

Yeah, there was a Pol thread about all the French college students who got sent home because of quarantine. So what did they do? Congregated en masse in local parks.
When asked WTF, they responded.
Socializing is important!
I wanted to go to the park. So why can't I go to the park?
Seemed to be led by females mainly with the dudes tagging along and starting casual soccer games to peacock for the girls.
Strange shit. Like The State failing them, not keeping their precious social space universities open, they needed to quickly drum up improvised social groups to whether the lockdown. As most of us likely know, student digs and apartments are shitholes set up only for crashing out. 90% of their time not sleeping is spent outside their living areas. Very few actually cook for themselves, ever. A majority of students are female too. And a girl alone is vulnerable, and not able to handle social and physical isolation. So they get out in public and allow potential male providers to perform feats of strength and athleticism for them. Jostle for sexual selection etc. Demonstrate health and status.
This is literally in the first day. When The State fails to be mommy and daddy and hubby and everything a girl requires in life, BOOM!, she instantly resets to using the male social network to support and protect her.
As we're seeing everywhere now, it's not the virus that's actually freaking the normies out, it's the social status quo and their routine being disrupted. When every other time prior to the lockdown, whether at a family get together or other open air social engagement, these same young adults would have their heads buried in their phones rather than mix. In this new context they understand that their phones are antisocial devices, and detrimental to their security and well-being.

There's very little traffic, and I have a sports car that's fun as fuck to hoon in, you think I'm going to pass up my chance? Tires are cheap ~$500 a set, who gives a shit.

Truth. We have mandatory work from home and pretty much all the people labelled "non-essential" are coming into the office so they can slack off and watch youtube videos while pretending to be essential.
CEO and I have been going back and forth about blocking the desktop subnet from internet access to see what happens.

Yeah but since I'm stuck here I'd have every one of those possibly diseased slackers wandering into my office moaning about the internet being down.
I think my idea of voiding their building access key cards would work better. Then tomorrow all I'd have to do is watch them beat on the doors like idiots until they go away. It would kind of lend an extra zombie apocalypse feel to this whole situation.

You believe that smart leaders exist. Yes, of course they do!

Because I know the internet is going to clog up and the clogs that are normally caused by people in the real world won’t be there to clog it up for a little plus photography in times like these is awesome
