The thing I hated about this scene is that it is completely contrary to history. The flyers in WW1 were treated like royalty by both sides. Most of them were upperclass young men, and many had attended the same universities at various times. It was like a giant club for the privileged. There is no way a German flyer would stab an English soldier who just saved his life. It's absurd and disgusting.

Everything you said is exactly how I understand WWI history with respect to pilots. I went so livid over that part I stopped watching the movie to bitch about it here.

Contrast with the Christmas armistice it rings hollow. Not so subtle.

People today have been brainwashed by Jew pornography and corruption and violence for so long, they can't even conceive of the mindset of the officers fighting in WW1, almost all of whom were from the upper classes, extremely well educated, and with an iron code of honor. That level of decency and fairness is beyond our comprehension, as a culture these days.

That's all I was saying. Like Humpty Dumpty: nothing more, nothing less.

I continued to watch it after that, but I didn't finish the movie. Enter the crazy (again) German. Dark and mysterious with fire burning all around him in a shell of a city (I didn't know rubble stone could burn so well). The German mindlessly charges at our hero shooting like a madman. A madman!

Then our hero finds comfort with some extremely frightened French girl. Once she finds out he is NOT German, her brain clicks into safe mode. Should I start posting the endless pictures of French women enjoying their time hanging with Nazi German soldiers? Yeah, I know, wrong war, but I figure it was the same theme in WWI.

I had such high hopes for this movie. It sucked dick.

it’s funny how brits are often portrayed as pure hearted stoic heroes in historical movies when they were aggressive little fuckboys in the past. why are the germans always the perverse angry peckerheads?

I liked the movie. I didn't see the German in the plane as a nazi, and I'm not sure why you would. My husband and I agreed that it was dumb of the Brits to try to save an enemy soldier. Of course the German stabbed him, why wouldn't he? That doesn't make him a nazi, or evil. It was war. The Brits were dumb.

I would even go so far as to recommend the movie. I don't like most movies, but this one looks really cool, as in the way it was shot is very visually appealing.

... I agreed that it was dumb of the Brits to try to save an enemy soldier.

A White enemy soldier. You know nothing of war, woman. Go make your husband a sandwich or something else useful.

I would say learn something of military history, but you are stuck in the brainwashed jew world of how war works.

"Kill the enemy soldier at all cost!! LAWRZ."

I would have helped save the White enemy. And in reality, he would not have stabbed me, except in jew world. Here's a starter package for you: Christmas Truce. You might want to read it. It is related to the times of the movie.

I know about the Christmas truce, but we knew one of the two soldiers was going to die. Wouldn't be a war movie if both lived.

And I wouldn't trust an enemy soldier. They did have a nice time, that Christmas, but then they went right back to killing each other.

There's no need to be rude, by the way.

Ugh, that movie. What was there? One cool CGI scene in the whole damn film? The rest was crap. No plot or story of any significant substance.

Still denied upgoating powers. How many fucking fag internet points do I need before I can upgoat with impunity? For Christ's Sake.

While there used to be no CCP requirement to upvote, 20 CCP is presently required to upvote posts or comments, and there is a limit to the number of times you can upvote per day as well. This limit ordinarily equals one half of your CCP -- so if you have 5,000 CCP, you can upvote 2,500 posts and comments in a day. However, when your CCP is below 200 and above 20 you will be limited to 100 upvotes a day, and when your CCP is below 20 you will be unable to upvote at all, as stated above.

Downvoting has a higher requirement, specifically 100 CCP.

You are without sin?

And I do research a bit before I bother. On the torrent sites, folks were claiming it wasn't jewed.

... but it is.

And get off your high horse.
