I would love more info. I have tried several times to learn to throw a knife and I've always failed. If you have suggestions or youtube videos that can help, I'd watch them readily.

Start with Xolette and spiderweb videos from her. You can research the Fedin style, Ralph Thorn style.

It is so much fun. But get the right knives. That is very important. Cold Steel Sure Balance, True Balance, True Flight Thrower. You can buy the Sure Balance for like, 15$ each. Plus they are regulation length for competition. My personal favorite knives are Flying Steel. They only have 3 models in stock atm, but later in the year a new run of one of their bests is coming back, the Songbird. The problem with Flying Steel is the price, but you pay for quality. One knife can run you $100.

Which brings me to the next point, keep a group of 3 of the same kind to throw. This is for a few reasons i won't get into.

I've done some knife throwing. It's a lot like golf. To get any good at it you have to practice frequently and continuously.

I also had a karate instructor who liked to lob rubber ninja throwing stars at the students. They are surprisingly hard to avoid:)

I find it amazingly like pitching. As in, being a baseball pitcher. Obviously like have the exact same goal. Just like in baseball, there are different ball throws. Curve ball, fast ball and so on. What makes them different is the release. Exact same as knife throwing.

Get a knife throwing target. Go somewhere with people and teach knife throwing and basically play darts with knives.

I've never been able to get the no-spin to work. There was a vet i knew who could stick anything. Axe. Knife. Lawnmower blade. He would spin but he always got it to stick. Could not figure out how he did it either.
