I would get drunk and throw some knives. Then like all things I would probably obsess about it for 6 months, and then set it aside

I do the same thing. Archery, hunting, fishing, music... I lose interest and move on after only a few months.

I've never been able to get the no-spin to work. There was a vet i knew who could stick anything. Axe. Knife. Lawnmower blade. He would spin but he always got it to stick. Could not figure out how he did it either.

Get a knife throwing target. Go somewhere with people and teach knife throwing and basically play darts with knives.

I've done some knife throwing. It's a lot like golf. To get any good at it you have to practice frequently and continuously.

I also had a karate instructor who liked to lob rubber ninja throwing stars at the students. They are surprisingly hard to avoid:)

I find it amazingly like pitching. As in, being a baseball pitcher. Obviously like have the exact same goal. Just like in baseball, there are different ball throws. Curve ball, fast ball and so on. What makes them different is the release. Exact same as knife throwing.

Well we have guns now, unless some dude has the armstrength of Beowulf I can't see any knife snipers in the future.
