They're a bunch of fame-grubbing skanks; they're not looking for love as much as attention. I don't have an ounce of sympathy; they sign up for it eagerly. Try watching it just to play a game and see how many times one of these bubbleheads says "like" in a sentence. It's shocking that they can't form a sentence without saying it at least 5-10 times.

I fully get why you think it's crazy, but that's the extent we've been propagandized, and how far we've fallen.
Parents were never meant to be out of the picture. They are to guide their daughters to proper marriage.
It is Christian, not muslim, and used to be understood and practiced by the New England puritans who first settled here.
There is no better way to do it, no one cares more for their children and will help keep them from harm than the parents.
"In seventeenth and early eighteenth century New England, courtship was not simply a personal, private matter. ... A father in Puritan New England had a legal right to determine which men would be allowed to court his daughters and a legal responsibility to give or withhold his consent from a child's marriage."

I agree, that parent should be involved, 100% up to age 18, and then of course as appropriate after that realizing their female offspring should have " a mind of their own" if they raised her correctly.
Human females are awesome creatures, that need some support and guidance. But there is an interim period, when they are able headed unmarried female humans above 18. Don't denigrate them, but also be aware of the severe indocrination many have been placed under.
