I've posted about the waco siege and the missing door before and spoke to someone who claimed to be involved. According to my source the actual reason behind the whole affair is that David Koresh was helping smuggle children out of the sex trafficking business. That's why the federal agents killed the children too, they were witnesses that could have turned a lot of people in.
If you liked Waco Siege you'll love Ruby Ridge.

I would take it with a grain of salt if he can't even be bothered combing through his comment history to find it.

the story is worse.:
from what I remember the entrapment was quite an involved process, which ended up being questionable, and an issue of cutting the barrels 1/4 inch too short. Weaver denied even cutting the barrels too short.
they then tried to use him as an informant with that made-up leverage.
They mocked him while his wife lay dead with half her head missing. During the standoff, federal agents named their operating base Camp Vicki after Weaver’s wife. Negotiators during the siege called out such stuff as, “Vicki, we have blueberry pancakes”.
The sniper had the same name as a Waco sniper (supposed Jap-Americsan Lon Horiuchi) which I believe to be a pseudonymn.
the reason he missed the court day initially was.. they sent him the wrong date.
it goes on. he got screwed, and lost kid, wife, buddy, dog.... all because he wouldnt be a rat.
