“The more laws and restrictions there are,

The poorer people become.

The more rules and regulations,

The more thieves and robbers.”

To give you context for what I have to say: I was born in 1956; my mother in 1930; her father in 1900. He told my mother when she was a little girl, "Always read a law in it's entirety. I'll guarantee you, whatever they're granting you at the beginning of that law, they will have taken away -- and then some -- by the time you read to the end of it." Of course, that was back when laws weren't 5,000 pages long. And now you know why i provided the context!

It's why, no matter how much they mocked and scoffed, I knew there were "death panels" in Obamacare. Oh, it didn't call them that -- but I knew they were going to allow themselves the right to deny care for any and all reasons, often leading to patients' deaths (the more often, the better, no doubt).

Yeah, it was buried there in various subsections all over that bill. That's why it was, what? 5,000 pages long? Yep, that's why. People weren't stupid back then. No. The Idiocracy is now.

Eyup. Lawyers should not be in gov't save for the judicial branch. All else should be regular folk representing regular folk.

Years ago, lawyers were one of the jobs that nobody cared to learn about or want to spend all day reading boring books to get a law license. Then you have to be lucky to find good work to keep money coming in. They abused our government and stole everything however they could, including taking bribes and giving away secrets. Setting us up with stupid ways of life, including putting up with massive illegal immigration, to accept and approve of their use of homosexuality, satanist ways for scary movies, and use of foul language. When I was a kid, I hated watching mill jobs disappear faster than Chevy Volt cars, I hated when movies and TV started using foul language and stupid stories to push their stupid ways of life on us as like we have to accept it. Well, this is real life, and we ain't gonna take it no more. These unAmerican DemonRATS need to be removed and never be allowed anywhere near America, our ways of life, and our government ever again.

Laws are big business.

When our country started, it was considered a system any commoner could defend their rights and actions in court. Then they turned the legal system into a language of it's own so you need a rep. 2 million laws later, it's the most lucrative industry in our country

45Then one of the lawyers answered and said to Him, “Teacher, by saying these things You reproach us also.”

46And He said, “Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers. 47Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. 48In fact, you bear witness that you approve the deeds of your fathers; for they indeed killed them, and you build their tombs. 49Therefore the wisdom of God also said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,’ 50that the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation, 51from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah who perished between the altar and the temple. Yes, I say to you, it shall be required of this generation.

52“Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.”
