I have been an attorney for over 20 years. To hear you state that I am naive, as to the current state of our judicial system is rather absurd. I have forgotten more than you will ever know. Its also worth pointing out that a large number of the framers of our Constitution, were themselves attorneys. The Bill of Rights is not some idealistic mumbo jumbo, rather it is all that stands between us and the power of the state. Lawyers fight for those rights everyday. It is the politicians who are constantly eroding them and passing unconstitutional laws.

The Supreme Court is NOT full of brilliant attorneys, selected by other attorneys. They are themselves politicians in robes, selected by the political class. Dont let the law degree fool you. Most attorneys I know have contempt for the quality of judges we have today. That is why we are here today. You can choose to believe otherwise if you wish.

And as I stated prior, I DO believe in our Bill of Rights and due process as it was initially intended, the ideals held within. However that system no longer exists in our nation, but has been replaced by a two-tiered just-us system. Again, mainly due to politicians, judges and lawyers.

Okay sure. Lawyers fight for lawyers period, namely billable hours. The only thing lawyers fight for would be dragging out cases to increase billable hours. Who holds most offices passing these "unconstitutional laws" you state? That's right; lawyers. What is the difference between a lawyer and a politician? The lawyer is only ripping off their clients as opposed to ripping off the public at large. What do you call 1, 000, 000 lawyers at the bottom of the sea? A damn good start. Shoe me a lawyer with a good heart, and I'll show you a dead lawyer. The FF were Patriots and there's a damn good reason they didn't want your ilk in what was supposed to be a short public service, and certainly not a lifelong career. Who screwed that up to benefit themselves? Ah yes, lawyers. Your profession is the scourge of the earth, second only to perhaps bankers. At least the bankers will give some returns, however small. Spare us your sanctimony.

I see you are as big a fool as I first took you for.
