You mean "read the thread?" So people upvote a unopened thread. This is a great example (if true) of being lazy. The twitter post the OP linked is incorrect. The thread plays that out. So if you read thread title, but not open it - then you have been given "fake news" and consumed it willfully.

So fall for fake news and don't care. When 10 seconds later you could have read the story and how quickly it fell apart. Awful.

Except the twitter article was 'fake news' at the worst. Since it painted a Dem in a bad light people up vote it. It is a completely WRONG story. He didn't commute any sentences. He delayed executions until after he was out of office. A huge difference.
