That's some bullshit, they're glossing over the first as well. The congress shall make no laws respecting religion. That means 'pertaining to' religion. They can't tax it, they can't tell it what to do, jack shit. This is one big fat nigger jew power grab in itself.

We need to hang traitors for this.

The second amendment is the last check on a corrupt government. It's self-defense from all threats.

A kid reading this will take this as gospel because they read it in a sanctified school book and call you a liar when you try to correct them.

This is political indoctrination like most of the curriculum thees days.

@ u/dan_east do you have the name and publisher of this textbook? I want to piss in their cheerios.

Unfortunately I do not. Publisher might be McGraw Hill, but I'm not 100% on that.

Remember that the moral of 1984 is that you should trust your government.

I have been looking into classical education and how intelligent children were taught before the public system was started. Something that has changed greatly in modern education is the lack of SOURCE DOCUMENTS. I would think anyone reading this grew up on school textbooks whereas surprisingly young children were reading/being read complex documents like the bill of rights.
