I had my dad and my mechanic uncle take turns yelling at me to hold the flashlight. such fun memories.

And you couldn’t sit down while he’s trying to figure out how to get at that one bolt because that’s what lazy niggers do
I can relate but my version would be about fishing. Dad trying to position the boat, Me holding the anchor rope.

I bought my dad a light we could clip onto the car and a headlamp and he fucking refused to use it and would yell at me when I tried to clip shit up.
I use those same shits all the time when working on my car... it is so much better. I think it is more of a power thing.

I think boomers were just idiots who don’t know how to teach or have the patience to do so.

I can’t relate to this. My dad taught me a lot. I don’t know if he falls in boomer age though

More likely: they're trying to include you and pass an experience on to you like their dad did for them.

you don't know what you're talking about

Yes, but they're very frustrated because they either don't know what they're doing, or because they just lost all their gambling winnings.
