Yea it wouldn't spread much until more people had it and then the quarantine, travel restrictions and border closings start. One person won't magically infect the whole country over night, it's a snowball effect and someone just lobbed a few our way. It's only been about one month in America and we have no real way of knowing how much it is spreading, if you think our government won't lie their asses off to avoid panic like in China then blah blah blah you get it.

How did it magically infect China overnight then?

It has been 2 months in America. People travelled direct from Wuhan to the US (and the rest of the world), freely, for the two months between the first cases of the virus in December, to the quarantine in January.

There will be no snowball effect outside China because China is faking it.

Does Trump seem worried?

It didn't infect China over night, it took a few months and that was with them not knowing about / how bad it was at the time, the rest of the world knows how bad it is and will take it seriously to avoid spread as much as possible and again it is likely spreading with a media black out. People traveling to and from Wuhan and even the people living in Wuhan were not likely to catch it in the early days because again, it hadn't snowballed out of control yet. Because of the incubation period and asymptomatic nature of the virus the first case (patient 0) could have been as early as October. Lastly, Trump was a hardcore businessman his whole life, do you really think he shows any emotion that he doesn't want to? Maybe you could look at all the quarantine camps being built in America right now as worried possibly?
