I think is undeniable that the bio-lab is involved. It might have escaped, or released by the Chinese or what if you go even deeper down the rabbit hole. Say China gets wind of this bio-weapon, geared toward Asian men. They steal it from the Canadian lab, perhaps to develop a vaccine against it, or not. So the west now knows that the Chinese have it. So someone smuggles another sample in and starts infecting at the bio-lab epicenter. Eventually people will buy into the idea that it either came from the wet market or the bio lab, but it would be a stretch to think the western elites set it off, maybe to depopulate or at least disable China on the world stage. So many possibilities...
