German Shepherd. No question. Protective, scares the shit out of niggers because cops use them, great with kids.

Go East German lines. You’ll see them because they’ll be less brown/grey and way more dark brown and black. They essentially have the look of a German without the stereotypical bastardized colors and hips. Mine is almost totally black and doesn’t have the slope back at all. He’s a giant beast of a machine that will fuck up anyone who so much as roughly hugs my kids.

Labrottweiler mix. Sweet and slender like a lab but will will stop others in their tracks when they see you walking down the street.

Another winner had these growing up super loyal. Certain folks are uber scared of them too.

I've never had one, just known people with them. Super intelligent, but they are guard dogs. I wish they were slightly smaller: they're big dogs and don't live long, plus I don't enjoy picking up human-size dog dirt.

An American Pit Bull Terrier would fit the bill. However unless your an alpha an can be the pack leader, find a less strong willed dog. To a pit if your not a strong leader, they will become the leader. With a dog the was breed to be animal aggressive that can be bad. See any YT videos on shit owners losing control of there pits.

I also would recommend a Rottweiler great dogs. However again need to be a strong Alpha as Rotts where bred to be war dogs. They are human aggressive.

The only time I ever got bit bad by a dog was a rot. Right in my face as a child. My fault. We had that dog for another 12 years or so till he died of old age.

No matter who or what you just can't allow yourself to trust a pitbull.. around children mostly. They are quite easily startled and fearful from behind and will feel aggressed confusing innocent play with attack. Kind of stupid that way.

Also love chasing after stuff like cats, and children on skateboards especially.

Currently own a pitbull with my family. Had two at one point. My old boy was 16 got sick and had to put him down.

Let me start of with saying. Never trust ANY DOG around young children. 1-4. Babies and temper tantrums sound exactly like prey animals. That's the issue. Any dog never relax around kids. Pitbull being animal agressive spark a primal response. So obviously never trust a pit un supervised around kids.

That said all my pit have been amazing. Believe it or not my schnauzer mut. Is the one I worry about. She is a small mut. Smaller than a pit. However she hates people. She will bite you if I dont stop her. I have an easier time getting my Pits to calm down around guests than my mut. Great guard dog tho.

My family has all sorts of big dogs growing up. Pits, Rottz, dobbies, sharks pie, akitas. The only dog to ever bite me was a rottweiler.

Story time.

Be mid 90's.

Living in So Cal

Dad wants a guard dog.

Head to LA County Pound.

Find adult male rott.

Hes huge. Big Boy.

Kind mean. Staff scared.

To my Dad perfect.

Take him home and find out right way.

Hes is very behaved, knows commands.

Still kinda stand offish but a good boy.

Week later I'm in the living room with Buddy.

I'm sitting next to him.

I put my arm around his neck hugging him.

I get cheek to cheek.

He turned his neck snapped and put a hole in my cheek.

Instantly stop and acted like he was in trouble.

Like I said we had that dog for another 12 years or so.

He was such a good boy.
