But what if it’s not a phobia and just a general dislike? The over use of phobia is destructive to language and gives idiots more power.

Phobia means a fear of, and uh, I'm not scared of em
[–] ChaoticNeutral 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
Phobia isn’t just a fear, it’s like having a full blown panic attack when exposed to their trigger. That’s how I found out that a friend was afraid of spiders. I was watching the Hobbit movie and a scene with spiders came up. Turns out she has a phobia, she ran screaming from the room. From a picture of CGI spiders on the television.

Newspeak. Homophobia means anything between "killing a homo because he's a homo" and "something a homo doesn't want to hear". It's intentionally as undefined and bubblegum-like as possible.

There's an old joke about anti-semtiism that seems apropos for people to understand what actually has happened and explain what will happen.
"Anti-semitism used to mean someone who didn't like Jews, now it's someone Jews don't like."
It's a far more accurate description of reality than most would like to admit.

The left isn’t know for its intelligence. The left is similar to the way a child would view the world. A certain amount of it is good. But when it takes over it’s fast tracking society to hell.

Don't worry, laws like these don't apply to immigrants.

An irrational fear of homosexuals should be a crime? What upside down wacko world has Switzerland become? Outlawing people's emotions. Actions motivated by hate, maybe. Why not outlaw arachnophobia as well, or hey Claustrophobia is now against the law!
[–] captainstrange 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
They're outlawing a state of mind, so it's literally a policy for thought-policing (I don't call it law because it's not lawful, only enforced by violence from the state).
Worse it's not even correctly labelled: they call it homophobia, when it should be called homohate and rightfully so.

It's neither 'irrational' nor 'fear' to be repulsed by disgusting degenerates.
[–] Lundynne 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago (edited ago)
It is irrational to have a panic attack at the sight of them though
[–] AlternateSelection 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
A phobia is an irrational fear regardless of subject matter. This isn't about fear. This is preventing opposition to an agenda. They are using this "phobia" angle to make it more palatable to the unsuspecting masses.
