If you really are committed to improving at CSGO I recommend you try to queue up with four other people that you know and get along with. Solo-queuing is not a great idea with the amount of trolls and toxic teammates you can encounter.
I also recommend hopping on to a community death-match server and just practice tap aim and spray control for a lot of the default weapons (ak, m4 etc.)

Learn some smokes and pop flashes, learn the call outs, DM for a few maps before playing comp.
Use your mic.. communicate. Don't stomp around like an elephant all the time. Practice practice practice.

I had a saved thread on Reddit with a dropbox of all the smokes and stuff but, alas, I deleted my account. Youtube will work fine, google.. then head into a custom matych by yourself and test them out until you can lend them everytime with no gaps. Good smokes will take an average team to practically unstoppable until you hit about MG2 or DMG (requires cooperative teammates).
