It's been out since 2016 it's now 2020 next year the PlayStation 5 will be launching with a whole new vr platform. It went from a six billion dollar industry in 2016 to a 20 billion dollar industry in less than 4 years and is projected to be at 30 billion by the end of 2020. That is the definition of success. Seriously why don't you just admit you're wrong. I love witnessing people like you who simply refused to admit you're wrong. It's okay to be wrong, we're all wrong about stuff all the time but it takes a real man to admit it when you are.

Yes gimmicks grow until enough people have tried it that they stop buying it. Ps5 will likely use vr as a marketing gimmick to convince people to buy a ps5 instead of an xbox and then once they own the ps5 they'll be committed to that platform. It doesn't mean ps is still going to be making major vr games in 4 years. They might still have some indie novelty games like beat sabers but it's not going to revolutionize anything anytime soon because it's such a niche product.

So you think in over four years people haven't come to the conclusion it's a gimmick? Furthermore the market is growing at a huge rate so obviously no one involved in this Tech thinks it's a gimmick nor do the consumers . You think you know more than Sony which has projected that people won't think it's a gimmick for the next life span of the PS5 so that's another 8 years? So after these 12 years will we know if it's a gimmick or not yet? Buddy you lost this argument a long time ago but your Ego refuses to let you admit it. Be a man and admit you're wrong.
