No, it's the downside of relative anonymity and a free speech news aggregator platform. About 30% of voat are that way. Is that representative of the population? No, it is magnified because people with views that are suppressed will typically be bigger supporters of the 1st because unless your views are suppressed or you're very educated then the 1st doesn't seem like such an important right.
