Doesn't mean that the belly fat is the reason itself. It means there is an underlying condition that is causing the belly fat as well as the heart attack. Could be many things like thyroid issue, low testosterone, Insulin resistance, etc. Belly fat is indication of a possible deeper issue.

Belly fat doesn't come from air. I can find the study, but the difference between a hyperactive thyroid and a hypo thryoid is equivalent to about 160 calories a day. Which is about a single can of coke. If you have a thyroid issue, just eat slightly less.

That's not how it works dude. I have been on thyroid replacement for 10 years for Hashimodos. If I slightly just my dosage I get a ton of symptoms including weight gain, lower energy, insomnia, etc. The majority of data on hormones is underdeveloped. It's similar to how nutrition data was handled in the past. HRT is still a largely undiscovered filled by mainstream science. Mainstream science still uses TSH as lone marker for thyroid levels.

I like how they rant about it for days, if the Doctor even mentions their weight.

Do we really need a scientific study to tell us this?
