Usually on the psn/xbox store digitally. If it's a game I'm really looking forward too like phantom pain I'll get it at gamestop, preorder and all. For older gen games I'll go too amazon.

PC games: Mostly Steam, but if IsThereAnyDeal shows a better price somewhere else than I'll buy it there.

Console games: My local Gamestop, unless the game's sold out in which case I buy it from said console's online store. This actually happened to me with Pikmin 3.

Steam and only Steam.

That's why the thought of Steam ever getting shut down gives me nightmares.

I get most of my console games from GAME and a local game seller at my market. They have pretty good deals, especially the "Two for three" deals. Actually the guy at the market has a lot of old PS2 and Xbox games for 3 for £5. I've gotten so many games through him. When it comes to digital games they come exclusively from Steam and GoG.

I'm the cheapest kind of gamer. I almost only get games I want, if they are in a bundle (humble, and sometimes bundlestars) or really cheap on one of the main steam sales. Then I play those games for a bit and go back to playing Dota 2. If there is a game I really want, I will put it on a list on isthereanydeal.com and buy it, once it's at least 50% off.

Best Buy, Steam, or Target mostly.

99gamers is a cool site for used games set up similar to Amazon. Most of the time it is a lot cheaper than gamestop or other similar used game stores as it eliminates the middle man. The downside is that it is very hit and miss, sometimes you can find a great game for dirt cheap, but sometimes almost the same price as buying new. Another con is that if you are selling games on the site, you get 'store credit' that you can only use on 99gamers.

PC games from steam or w/e platform their on (origin, battle.net, gog).

Lately I've been buying most of my console games digitally (usually when they go on sale or I want to play it right away). Purchased a few from EB games because I get gift cards occasionally, and my friend gave me all his old games to trade in so I had credit.

Hooked up a 4TB to my xbox so I'm not worried about HD space. Planning on installing a 1 or 2 TB HD in my PS4 since it doesn't support external storage...
