Three homes, not 6?
I am aware that they owned two homes, then her parents died. (Not entirely sure, but it is common for Congressmen to have a house in DC and a house in their home state.) They sold the parents' house and one of their houses, and bought the house in 2016. Not sure if the current total is two or three. You can look at purchase records, but you really need to do current title searches in GIS. Homes can be sold without it showing up. If you use that metric, I would show up owning three homes on the record books.
The 2016 house was purported to be a "lakeside mansion" but I have seen a tour of it and it is more like a cabin. They wanted it fairly big because they have grandkids. It's not out of the question for someone to have a cabin. I have one myself, in addition to my home. Mine isn't on a lake, but I wanted something secluded in the woods.
