Michael Savage is where I first heard Trump. I was in immediately. Right then and there. Savage seemed to be too. I’d say awestruck even.
It seems all michael does is kvetch about what trump isn’t doing. i turned him off 3 years ago.
So now I am suspicious of an old jew who lives in San Francisco and claims he ain’t gay.

Listening to him during that time you would of been lead to believe he wanted Ted Cruz or Ben Carson > Trump, no revisionist allowed RL

Rush was pretty non commital to anyone as I recall. I seem to think he defended Trump from attacks, but was never pushing one over the other between Cruz and Trump. I suspected he was cool with Trump but he has an audience that may have been split on the subject so Rush stayed out of it but has to be happy with the result. If he was all in he sure never said it at the time clearly and succinctly.

Makes me wonder if Rush isn't permitted to really get behind a candidate early on. I recall that he was not behind ANY of the candidates, really, but he was not bashing any of them either. At least, on the GOP side, that is. And he never once said anything negative about Trump from the day he announced.

from a business perspective, why potentially piss off a sizeable chunk of your audience by actively supporting one candidate over another when ultimately you would support either over hillary anyway.

Hmm, I am a big Rush fan, but I remember being kind of disappointed in him at not being on the Trump train right away. I was thinking come on Rush, Trump is about everything you have been talking about for the last twenty five years. At one point, he said something and I was thinking finally he’s with us. It was like Rush was hedging his bets until he was sure.

He's a talking head, folks. Listen if you want, but remember that he spins things to his benefit better than the rest of 'em. He'd make an excellent politician.
