There were only two, and the votes in both cases were bipartisan, not political, because real crimes that matched codified laws on the books were part of the charges. Andrew Johnson faced 11 articles of impeachment; William Jefferson Clinton faced two. Neither man was removed from office by the Senate.
Trump's situation is very different. There is no codified statute for "contempt of congress" It is a made-up crime. The so-called "abuse of power" is fairly nonsensical because the US has a treaty with Ukraine that requires the two countries share information to investigate corruption, therefore merely asking for information is not an "abuse of power." The House vote was purely political.
