It made the Navy News and they wanted people to know.

If they are so use to it then why did they want people to KNOW?

I know games are played, but nobody can ever know when something BAD will happen, until it does.

This shit has happened every single year, multiple times a year, since the Cold War.... Why are you acting like it's a surprise now? Or like it's something we haven't seen thousands of times before?

Every story has at least two sides. The Russian side:

https://www.rt.com/news/477976-us-russian-ships-aggressive-approach/

The International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea – a 1972 convention regulating the rules of navigation in the open sea – states that β€œthe vessel which has the other on her own starboard side shall keep out of the way and shall, if the circumstances of the case admit, avoid crossing ahead of the other vessel.”

I saw their story. but the Russian ship was AIMED at the American one, so I believe my OWN EYES and OUR NAVY.

Seems to me that both is true. The captain of the Navy ship showed his ship is faster and can cross the course of the Russian ship. The captain of the Russian ship showed that his ship can boost its speed long enough to scare some sailors. Boys be boys even when grown up and playing with expensive hardware.

Relax, it is nothing new. The Russians have been doing this since the Soviet era. Their strategy is a test of American resolve and alertness. The commanders of these ships are well aware of these tactics and "incidences". The Russians look for weakness, identifying reactions that could be interpreted as over-reaction or under-reaction. They hope for a "slip" of secrets, signals, communication, or anything that may be identified in a real-life live situation giving the Russians an advantage. Again, it is nothing new.

No, It is NOT something NEW. I'm reading the book, "THE SILENT WAR" which Q kind of referred to and you are right. NOTHING NEW.

Then why the hell did your entire post make it sound like this was some new crazy thing and that "you don't know what the Russians are playing at"?

We know exactly what they are playing at, as we have seen this happen thousands upon thousands of times, in the air and on land.

Seeing the way you type has got to be one of the most annoying things I've ever seen during my almost 30 years on the internet... And that's a pretty impressive feat.

Oh, it really happened! CNN reported it and I missed the fact it was a CNN article, so I cowardly apologized for promoting Fake News CNN report!

This is isn't the first time Russia has done this! But, it should be the 'Last'!
