Read the War Powers Resolution, Public Law 93-148. It specifies the "Introduction of United States Armed Forcs." Based on the definition in the legislation and the facts of US Armed Forces have been statition in Iraq and conducting drone operations for years, President Trump did not violate the War Powers Resolution in any way. As the military forces have been stationed and engaged in hostilities within a foreign nation, the President is required to provide report periodically to Congress, up to six months. Congress should go back and re-read the Resolution in full and in context.

He knows how corrupt the Democrats are. He knows Pelosi & crew did this to slam Trump not to protect the Constitution. They are trying everything & anything to weaken POTUS. Voting for this stunt at this time doesn't seem to serve any pro-America, pro-Trump purpose. I find his vote shocking and a betrayal.

its not a betrayal. This blank check we wrote all future presidents authorizing a "war on terror" is insanity

I respectfully disagree with whether Gaetz betrayed us or not. I’m guessing we agree on past Presidents abusing us in the name of a “war on terror”, but if you follow Q drops & POTUS, you’ll know Pelosi & crew are thoroughly corrupt. This is a stunt to harm Trump, not to fight for restoration of Constitutional delineation of separate powers. They care nothing about that. But! In the interest of fellowship & collegiality, I will state I have no idea of the real reasons of anything that is done in their world! ;)
