She does have a point. When I got laid off in '08, it was impossible to find a job. I was at the Job Center nearly daily, and reading the sheets there. So many jobs I could have done, according to the sheets.... until I got to the bottom, where they listed the certifications and degrees and all that were required to know how to run the machine, or whatever. It was very depressing, to know you have the brains and common sense to be able to DO anything, but if you don't have those letters or papers they won't even consider you. Took me 2.5 years to get a job.

I would think that, in this booming economy, this should not be so much of an issue since there are more job openings than people to fill them. Hire all the Americans first an then with the positions left seek immigrants. As long as the numbers are kept reasonable, there should not be a problem, as long they let Trump do his thing so that the economy stays strong.
