When our country was founded, politicians donated their time. What happened???

That is more than half of the country makes. At least half. All that ZIRP money floating around at the top in the club only "trickling" down if people agree to sell themselves out and give up God. What part of your soul would you like to sell today, young lad? What part of URN THE LIVING don't you understand?
But yeah 52K is chump change. This woman, if you can call her that, has sold herself and is giving away her soul to gain the world with sick power plays like this one. I hope she repents and turns to Jesus.

They should set a private-sector comparable wage to the actual work they do, then index every congressman's pay to directly follow the purchasing power index of the dollar. Cost of living increases are out. The dollar declines in value, their wages decline.
Then the States should form their own collaborative IRS-like entity solely in charge of closely monitoring congressman wages and income. All income discrepancies to be highlighted and a panel of elected decision-makers from each State decide whether they will be investigated. This panel can only serve 2-year terms maximum.

Pretty sure there is only 52 weeks in a year!

That's for the most part true, though it depends on how you count it. 7*52 = 364.
In 2028 there will be 54 "weeks" (the first and last "week" of the year have one day each).
