I would rather read the study than a site trying to make the results look as bad as possible.

I'm still not convinced that the normal whopper is safe to eat, let alone most other fast food burgers.

At this point maybe all new food items "invented" by these corporate slop servers should be fully tested by the FDA. Be smart people, if it isn't a naturally occurring food, it isn't safe to eat it..

The FDA huh?

Yeah, I know. That wouldn't have sounded the same 50 years ago.

You bet. I personally have not eaten anything from Burger King in 20 years or better. No macDs, Sonic once in six months or so or a Wendy's. These options are only for when I'm nowhere near real food. I like to get my food from the wild personally. Nothing like venison with a dandelion salad. Or trout with Quinoa.

Glyphosate has been found in significant concentrations on fields that have never been sprayed, and in underground aquifers.

it isn't a naturally occurring food

Define naturally occurring food please.

I ask because branding things as "natural" is the biggest scam out there. Natural has nothing to do with safety.

Grows on a naturally occurring plant, like a fucking banana. Not chemicals mixed together in a drum. Unless your from a different planet, you should be able to figure it out. Just don't eat soybeans, their not useful to humans.

You hit the nail on the head with this one. They say MSG can't trigger a reaction because it's a naturally occurring component of food. The fist fulls they put in crap foods to trick your brain in to thinking it's yummy can't possibly be worse than the tiny amounts that occur naturally can it? Yet they still hide it behind 15 different names and descriptions in food labels. And I promise, the MSG shills will downvoat me to hell when their sniffer programs catch this post.

Nicotine is natural. So is arsenic.

Now they're saying the estrogen in these "burgers" isn't harmful because it's plant based. But they use plant based estrogen in compounding pharmacies to treat menopause. How's that any different?

They're poisoning us through our food supply. 40% of the population did just suddenly start overeating in the late 1980's and get fat. Something changed in our food supply.

Just like they're poisoning our vaccines and air. They want us dead and they want to profit from our misery all the way to our graves.

I tend to take studies on rats like this with a pinch of salt:

  • They're often performed on very small populations, so it's not clear if the effects are statistically relevant

  • Rats have different typical causes of death from humans, for example, they're much more likely to die of cancer, even when not fed any experimental diet

  • Their physiology is different enough that the results of a rat-study don't mean much when it comes to humans. They're immune to some poisons that would kill us, and things that we wouldn't think twice about eating are anathema to them.

Also it doesn't say how much they were fed and whether they had other food as well.

Gosh, I hope the government does the right thing and requires Burger King to make their garbage dumpsters rat proof.
