Their eyes dont see. They have not been shown. However, God searches hearts. God knew what deceptions we would be thrown, so He will not blame them for they can not see. He instead will rest among those who sing praises, gather with other believers, and wholeheartedly worship Jesus as their Lord on this day.

Jesus gave us the gift of everlasting life. I don’t know why you’d focus so intently on demons and Satan. Satan and his fallen angels have no power. We have power through Christ. Power to assemble and power to praise his name. Demons are cowards in the face of Christ and his true disciples.
We read scripture with our kids and let them know how God has blessed us with the ability to give and receive gifts. Santa and elves are lighthearted fun and all, but it’s not about Santa for our family, it’s about our love for one another. We know what that love means thanks to Christ Jesus.

Satan Claws. Simply have a Happy Birthday Baby Jesus party for the young'uns to celebrate and associate what it is really all about. Don't rob the kids of the joy of the season with legalistic fears. Just be smarter about it. Christ is acknowledged and honored, and hopefully folks can create happy memories around this event. Definitely don't give in to the commercialist tripe. Don't need a gazillion toys, the kids like the boxes better than the stuff in them. kek

Well said. God bless you my brother in Christ Jesus. I will never let satan or his followers steal any of my gifts from the Lord. They are working overtime to destroy our relationship with God. If they can't do that they will try to destroy us. I am ready to die for my Lord - He died for me. Merry Christmas to you too.

As a Christian fully aware of the pagan / Saturnalia festivities of this time of year, and the institutional church's attempt to counteract pagan influence in society as a whole with Christmas fabrications for this time of year, it's just a battle I'm not willing to fight.
As Christians we are both free and encouraged to meditate on the meaning of Christ's birth every Sunday as we gather for corporate worship, and the meaning of Easter, and Good Friday. Why? Because a Christian by definition is saved by the person and work of Christ; that means his birth, life, ministry, suffering, death, burial and resurrection are all essential elements of the Good News for humans. And we follow Christ and obey him as we immerse our thoughts and adorations to all these precious truths, always.
Having said that, no problem for secular society at large to hold festive times among the calendar, just a way for our common social relationships to reset and find ways to cheer one another up. Of course its been almost completely over shadowed by the consumerism necessary to get business as close to getting in the black as possibly by end of year. But even hardened atheists see this as a time to reconnect with family and friends in significant ways, which is not a bad thing.
For me and our family, we choose to festively celebrate with family, do the tree and decor. We also have severely minimized the role of 'presents' with each other and the kids however, to at least redirect focus to both more meaningful human dynamics and spiritual realities. That's not everyone's jam, and that's fine.
