I don't think we've actually taken a look at this trade agreement, probably because we trust Trump. That being said, the NAU (north american union) had language that subverted our national sovereignty, I hope that type language is not in this deal.

I think you are right about knowing the details of this massive agreement. The NAFTA was so corrupt and detrimental to our country almost anything would be better but I am with you in that I trust Trump at this point. He is a brilliant negotiator and I am very thankful that he is on our side. It is amazing we have an elected official actually working for the good of our country!

It passed now because the Dems are going to try to take credit for it.

I agree but I don't think Americans will give them much if any. To me it looks like the fake impeachment was such a failure that they are trying to use this for a little cover.

USMCA is a disaster for our national sovereignty, including tying our power grid to our northern and southern neighbors.

Probably more likely part of a plan to delay it without looking like they were and being blamed for it. Democrats aren't very good at adapting so they passed this anyway despite impeachment failing miserably.

The plan was to bog down the senate with the impeachment for several months during which no action would be taken on the USMCA or anything else. Delay long enough and it was expected that people would see no benefit from it and possibly turn it into a liability for Trump.

EPIC FAIL!!
