You're very vague in what your daughter and your wife are picky about, and it makes it hard to offer specific advice. The most important thing I can tell you right now is that Paleo is actually not expensive, which is against what I originally believed as well. You'll find that meat itself, without foods high in the glycemic index (potatoes, corn, grains, etc...), will fill you up for hours longer than before. And cooking vegetables is something you've been doing for a while so that need not changed except for veering away from soy sauce, added sugars, and premade sauces or marinades

Other than that it all comes down to preference. I usually cook a large cut of meat (I.e. a pork shoulder) or a large quantity of meat (chicken thighs or beasts, pork loins) at once and that'll be my main entree for the next three days' lunch and dinner. Veggies and fruit I buy daily and throw those in where they belong.
