It's always a hard one.
If you keep it small, you can keep the quality high. However, you sacrifice the quantity of content. And vice versa.
Maybe run it as invite-only for a bit? Or have some sort of probation for new users? (In fairness, we already have that with the voat limits)
At the moment, it's been great. The people here really do remind me of old-reddit/old 4chan (When the latter wasn't crapposting). There also seems to be a lot less upvoat-whoring (and people seem to be less bothered by the points).
I don't agree with FPH but I do respect their right to free speech and I would never try to limit that. The censorship happening on reddit has really turned me away from it.
As nasty as some of FPH can be, Freedom of Speech. I've never been obese, 5'9" at 190lbs at most, I have been overweight. Back down to 165lbs, running and working out again, inspired mostly by FPH, and desiring to not get any worse weight-wise. Humans are good and bad, trying to cut out the bad is what made that other site turn to shit.

I wouldn't mind the invite only side, but make the invite process a little easier to dole out.

It's an interesting crowd too. Aside from FPH this place reminds me a lot of reddit's good old days in 2010 or so.
