We are ... but their algorithms apparently have a large affect on what normies see with no connection to folks with working brains.
It definitely has an effect, as there are lots of folks who only have the YouTube app, with no understanding there's an 'internet' beneath powering it. Kind of like how back in the day many folks thought AOL was the internet .... only the names change.

If they finagle data, like likes or subscriptions, and that data is given to investors or stockholders, and this is Sarbanes data, they are breaking the law. Basically public ally traded firms cannot play with their data, it must be accurate.
