Every story I've seen so far warning of deepfake videos uses videos that are easy for any second grader to spot as fake. The risk here is minimal because we aren't morons.

So - there are hundreds of users on this site. Surely some of you are tech geniuses. Is it possible to "make an app for that?" I mean, could an app be developed that will show a viewer that a video is faked? Kind of like how I can copy the address and info of a photo posted online and run it through tineye.com to find out the first time it was used online.

I don't understand the tech well enough to know if this is a legit question. But I thought someone on here might have an answer.
