You gotta clarify your edit not sure if you meant she said that about you or someone else....
If it's you, I'm really sorry to hear about that, I've been there too so I know how it feels.
What did you say to her back? Please let us know you ripped her a new one!

That sounds like the kind of thing that could happen to a bunch of metrosexuals.
Will Rachel and Monica ever trust Phoebe again?

I've been in that awful position before where I've realised I've forgotten my card when joining friends for dinner, and it's terrible. But the wonder of phone and internet banking is that you can pay people money without going to the Bank. You cannot do anything especially malicious with a person's account number and sort code, and it's very easy to fix if you are an absent minded tit like me.
Fats would never think of that though because the prospect of a free meal makes them too excited

Very true, but in all honesty the fat had no money to go out and that was it's plan all along.

Yes, at the very least you can do it the second you get home, since that stuff can be a pain in the ass to do on a phone.

Exactly! When it happened to me, some years back, this is exactly what I did. In the days after as well, it was nice to send a thank you card to the person who'd arranged the dinner, with my phone number included to ask them to let me know if they'd received the funds.
Every mishap is a chance to be nice, you know? Funnily enough, the couple this happened with are now some of my dearest friends, and I like to think that how they reacted, as well as my own reaction, cemented that early friendship :) Poop happens, it's how we deal with it that makes the difference, you know?

Absolutely shameless. It makes me sad that people like this will likely never run out of friends. They seem to be able to find a never-ending line of suckers to fleece and then dump. The worst part is it's over so little. I mean, $60? That is all it takes for you to be completely and transparently despicable? Who leaves a trail of burnt bridges like that over $60 meals?

That fat. It apparently preys on gullible people.

Sorry, I'm a touch confused. When did the pig "realize" it "forgot its card?"
Why did it "pretend to go to the bathroom" when it had already informed you it couldn't pay?
If everyone got separate checks, why did anyone need to cover for the pig?
Who was in what group chat when she said someone lost a baby? Was this the fat saying YOU lost a baby because YOU are too skinny? (I am so very sorry, by the way, if I have read that correctly. ) Or was it your friend-who-brought-the-pig saying that?
Just wanting to clarify, so I know how to respond.
(Whatever the case, you were nice to cover for your friend there...it's just too bad that shit is what fats count on: other people being good and decent.)

That's why I don't have many 'friends' they always try to get me to spend money I don't need to be spending

to spend money I don't need to be spending
Right? I know there's a fine and very subjective line between frugality and just plain being cheap. But I try to ask myself if I'm essentially about to pay someone to handle something I could do on my own. If the honest answer is yes I'm probably not going to be interested. We tend to slide into habits. And I just never want to end up being lazy.
