And in the book of enoch (which is part of the apocrypha, a set of books that were not added to the bible for some reason) enoch talks about the nephilim and the fallen angels who he calls watchers, and how they were imprisoned and forced to watch as their children (Nephilim) killed eachother. Another interesting thoery is that all the gold we have today came from the blood of these nephilim, which when bled after dying and the blood drying would leave these minerals like gold, iron, silver, etc. The thought is two nephilim fought, one died, slumped over and bled out then the mud flood happened, and the mountain was formed. The real question is, when was the last time a mountain was formed? Not in recent history anyways. Just interesting thoeries with real proof. Still interesting. Still plausible. They found in Egypt a fallen statue that the side broke off. Inside can be seen what looks like ribs and fossilized tissue. Were they statues? Or trophies. Another part to the thoery is that the nephilim bloodline still exists, through noah's son, who picked a heathen woman as his wife. It was through her blood we got the heroes of old, gilgamesh (nimrod), and the giants david fought like goliath and his 4 brothers, one being named simply huge man, because he had 6 fingers on both hands and 6 toes on each foot. His sheer size would block out light in doorways and his strength would terrify every army. Now to modern day times we have the story of the giant of kandahar, which cannot be verified with out classification. But would still line up with the other theories. Now the question is, are there giants out there that the government is keeping secret from us? Like the stories of sasquach, big foot, and the abominable snowman. Are these really myths? Or are they more? Every civilization has stories of giants and creatures and heroes. Some part of it has to be based on real life examples.
