How they pulled this off, fooling the public, just amazes me to this day
its very common and super easy apparently
because they do it literally all the time
there is not one major event of significance in US history where the mainstream narrative is true

I tend to agree with you. They have kept us snoozing with booze, drugs, poison and God knows what else. When I think about the 1986 era when this happened, all I was concerned about was my social party lifestyle. Booze, drugs, sex, meds, and music was on all our minds.

Two possible reasons they would do this.
1) they survived the explosion and sea fall and the method of their rescue was classified.
2) they were never on board. A different crew flew that mission. Probably a classified mission.
I'd guess that they were never on board. People forget that NASA is a military operation with a pretend civilian face. It would make perfect sense if the military didn't want the names of their men released to pretend to send a different group. Perfect time for some nonsense about sending a teacher into space.

Does it make any difference that he entire shuttle concept was bullshit from the beginning? It is much easier and cheaper to stack crap on a disposable rocket and shoot it up into space. - then do it again. Why return the vehicle to land on an airstrip? It's like design airliners to land on train tracks. What is the point? Maybe they were looking for a way to kill a popular program.

The guy that hired Judy Resnik (and the others) told me he hired her cause she called him constantly to ask if he'd made a decision. Likely another reason (that even he was kept in the dark about, the old 'need to know' thing).
I find this conspiracy fascinating. Ever since I saw the youtube clip above.
Even Snopes has a hard time with this one, they cannot and do not disprove, very weak.
So where are the Columbia astronauts?
I last saw Commander Brown at his home in this neighborhood in Friendswood, Texas, just before the flight, he had his own airstrip in the backyard.

Probably used as a liberal reference point.

In a critical way, I was showing how their debunking of this was a big fail.
