Does it make any difference that he entire shuttle concept was bullshit from the beginning? It is much easier and cheaper to stack crap on a disposable rocket and shoot it up into space. - then do it again. Why return the vehicle to land on an airstrip? It's like design airliners to land on train tracks. What is the point? Maybe they were looking for a way to kill a popular program.

While I still think there may be something to the story, there is actually a picture of the McNair brothers together in a magazine. I can't find it at the moment, but I saw it while researching this.

There is some decent video of a UFO going post the shuttle right before it expires, haven't seen it for about 15 years.

It would be a real shame if someone did some Project Veritas or ambush-style journalism on these fucks to get their reactions on tape

What value would there be in doing this? More money to pay for a new rocket?

Two possible reasons they would do this.

1) they survived the explosion and sea fall and the method of their rescue was classified.

2) they were never on board. A different crew flew that mission. Probably a classified mission.

I'd guess that they were never on board. People forget that NASA is a military operation with a pretend civilian face. It would make perfect sense if the military didn't want the names of their men released to pretend to send a different group. Perfect time for some nonsense about sending a teacher into space.
