The industry shift had already killed them. The loss of those business was already inevitable before this administration took office. We had already been moving away from coal for over thirty years.

His EPA has done a lot to eliminate restrictive regulations on the industry. The coal industry is much more viable than it was under Obama, and certainly exponentially more so than it would be under Clinton, who promised to kill it.

Should the government be propping up failed companies and outdated, uncompetitive industries? All of them, or just the ones we like?
