Upvoated because this article actually has lots of content that I can read on a desktop machine without scrolling.

Once I did respect PZ Myers but when he joined the madness of Atheism+ and atheism started to act like crazy religious followers that wants to convert infidels, I lost interest in the Atheist community.

I still recall how feminism destroyed Atheism and the skeptics community from within. And it all started with the fact that some guy invited someone for Coffee in an elevator.

PZ Myers and Atheism+: The madness of atheism.

Since when did feminism "destroy" atheism? If I recall correctly, the most popular atheists are people such as Hitchens, Dawkins, TAA, Thunderf00t, MrRepzion, and Sargon of Akkad. All of these people are against feminism.

Hitchens would turn in his grave if he would have seen what the feminists did to the Atheist community.

Dawkins and Thunderf00t have big fights against the Feminist destroying atheism. Just go to YouTube and Google "Rebecca Watson"

Great article. This quote stands put; I believe PZ and his commenters genuinely want to see social justice, whatever it is that means to them. But you cannot bring about social justice by spreading hatred of outsiders, and you cannot bring about any justice by unjustly attacking anyone.

That was my favorite line too. The idea of bringing about social justice through tribalism, hatred, and unjustly attacking others has never made much sense to me.

I lost all respect when he (recently) tweeted that evolutionary psychology was essentially bullshit.

He's a fucking evolutionary biologist? Evo bio and evo psych overlap so so so much... He's basically saying his whole life's work is bullshit because it counters the feminist narrative.

I had hoped that an effective community could be formed around secular activism. When the SJWs came along demanding that their agenda take front and center and proclaiming that anyone who disagreed with them was a "misogynist," it became clear that this was unlikely to happen. Maybe someday.
