Anytime you have a "fiery" culture and then fairly suddenly, the men have nothing to do, it turns bad. Just finished reading Hillbilly Elegy and that was one of my takeaways from that book. Some cultures just do better with more adventure and work to do, and don't do well being "civilized", especially the men. They don't have anything to do to prove their worth and earn respect. I grew up that way too, so I understand somewhat.
My point was that not everything has to do with human trafficking. Lots of domestic violence in the Native culture and lots of remote areas to hide the bodies. I believe this is more of an adult woman problem, although the children are affected too and I am not a fan of CPS. Maybe human trafficking as a secondary effect.
