What exactly are you talking about? I have met very, very, very few TRUE Followers of the Messiah in my lifetime. Most of those whom proclaim to be the followers of the WAY, TRUTH and LIFE are CINO's.
Many people do not have authentic faith but purely speculative faith. They seek the benefits of religion, and are willing to pay for them through their nominal church membership but their faith is spurious not genuine. They are baptized with water but not baptized with the Spirit. They do not have heart-felt faith. Jesus talked about those who heard his words but did not respond in faith. "For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them."(Isaiah 6:9,10; Matthew 13:15).
In the USA and throughout the world there are many people like Simon Magus who have a superficial understanding of the Gospel of Jesus but their hearts are not right with God. They are full of bitterness about their lives, and they are captive to their desires and their despair.
Most CINO's do not fulfill the very basic teachings of the Messiah.
Yeshua said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments," (John 14:15, KJV).
"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets," (Matt 7:12)
"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous," (Matt 5:43-450
I could go on. But I will spare you the embarrassment OP.
